Perinatal mortality study and investigation committee
The CÉEMP is specifically responsible for monitoring the situation of perinatal and maternal mortality occurring in the professional practice of midwives. Perinatal mortality is one of the health indicators used in the perinatal field, in particular, to evaluate overall quality of care.
- Collect all relevant information in cases of perinatal mortality or morbidity.
- Compile all necessary data in the event of perinatal mortality or morbidity.
- Perform an analysis and interpretation of the results.
- Provide to the Board of Directors, upon completion of any investigation, its comments or recommendations for the improvement of midwifery.
